Collecting at the Beach
Perfect day at the beach with the kids. So nice to walk along the ocean and collect large shells for mini gardens. My son is going to crush a few oyster shells for our friend's chickens too.

Flowers & Rain
The snow is almost melted from the crocus bed. Mini daffodils are dressed in yellow on front step. Pansies await to be planted in the front whiskey barrel. Raked the leaves off the front beds again while rainy but the Pink Picote is about to bloom. Another name for that soon. Will be planting some carnivorous plant seeds with my soon and transplanting an African Violet with my daughter later.

Litchfield Artisan's Guild & Lily & Vine Floral Design
As my son builds a 374 piece Lego Arctic Outpost beside me, I'm taking a minute to check out the Litchfield Artisan's Guild BlogSpot and it connected to me to my long lost blog.
Today we spent the morning filling pots with soil at MJF3 Enterprises/The Garlic Man on Gillette Rd. in New Hartford while Mickey transplanted peppers and lettuce. Can't wait to do some of those next week.
On our way back to Litchfield we bought some pansies and other flowers at Litchfield Hills Nursery and stopped in to chat with Nicole at the Litchfield Artisan's Guild/The New England Girl about some of the barbed wire, birch, and barn wood items I make. I just need to get them there soon!!!
Last week we drove a similar circle by stopping in at Lily and Vine Floral Design with some barbed wire creations before heading up to the Guild on the way to Litchfield... their arrangements with Ranunculas are amazing... and I must say that a cute little white birch bird would look so nice in any little container garden or arrangement.
Please comment if you're interested in a creation for your garden or outdoor space. Of course I'm up for some indoor quilting and wreaths on a rainy day such as today too... but need to transplant some succulent and cut some pieces of white birch next.
Thanks for visiting, Molly
